I'm planning on reading both of the books over my Christmas vacation, though I'll be a little late to the discussion, as I'll be driving 13 hours on the 27th... so I'll probably drop by to discuss on the 28th. :)

I'm sure that won't be a problem, we got a full week scheduled for discussion after all.

My books are on the way, (I got them really cheap second hand.) but, between the December 23 and January 2, I will only be two days at home with internet access (December 27, December 28 and parts of December 29), so I wouldn't mind if the discussion starts later, but I wouldn't have a problem to enter it later.

I'll count you as voting for the 3rd October when I'll do the last minute vote on the 26th.

That's nice. I just came back from my parents, answering e-mails first. I'm almost done with Bujold, now.
an absolute word tart!schemingreader on December 22nd, 2007 11:30 pm (UTC)
I read all of the Bujold and part of the Le Guin over shabbat, and I'm ready to start discussing them NOW! I'm excited. How did these two books wind up together? It's so appropriate!

I blame the fact most of the voters in the comm have a very good and similar taste ^^
